If you currently have an Adsense account, if you are earning from blogging, you know that there are some types of bids in Adsense, CPC Bids, CPM Bids, and Active View CPM.

What is CPC in Adsense?

CPC or Cost Per Click means the amount paid by Adsense when a visitor to your blog site clicks on an ad unit.

For this to change, the niche you are doing is often affected by the location of visitors and the budget used by the company for the ad.

How to increase the CPC?

To Increase your CPC we can use the methods below.

Target High CPC Country

Targeting your website to a country with a high CPC. You can make your blog by targeting countries like European countries, the USA, Canada, and Denmark.

The buying power of people in these countries is more than people in countries like ours (Sri Lankans). A company publishes an ad and simply hopes to sell a service or a product.

So in such a country, when someone clicks on that ad, there is a higher chance of buying it. That is the reason why CPC increases for those countries and decreases for other countries.

Find High CPC Keywords

The next thing you can do is to use high CPC niche keywords in your content.

You can get an idea about the CPC of the keyword when you get a keyword research tool like Semrush, Ahrefs, or Keyword Planner.

Niches like Lawyers, Mortgages, Digital Marketing, SEO, CyberSec, and Loans have a good CPC, you can also do more research.

Block Low CPC Ad Networks

Another thing is that in the Adsense account, you have an option called Blocking Control. There is another option in Adsense called Reports.

You can use these reports to see the list of ad publishers on your blog or website. You can take care of all the details such as Impressions, Clicks, and CPC that have come to those Ads.

You can catch Ad publishers with low CPC and use the Blocking Control Tool to block them. There are plenty of YouTube tutorials to see about this.
